These are my two main grinders. The tall one is a Coote, and the small wheel grinder is shop built. Both are powered by 1 hp motors (the small wheel grinder's motor is variable speed).
Across the aisle from the Coote and small wheel grinder is a Dayton 1x42 grinder that is used primarily for profiling. Next to it are two 4x36 sanders, were I keep a 50 grit belt on one, and a 120 grit belt on the other. To the left of the small drill press is a shop built low speed horizontal disk. This disk turns at 400 rpm's, and I use it mainly for flattening bolsters. |
